Last season for Rosenblatt Stadium

This is the last season for Rosenblatt Stadium which will be razed, and the property acquired by the Henry Doorly Zoo. The Omaha Royals are building a new stadium in Sarpy County, Nebraska, and will begin their 2011 season in their new facility. Thursday September 2, 2010 they plan to commemorate the last game at Rosenblatt with a full slate of pre-game and post-game activities and giveaways.Festivities will begin at 4:45 p.m. in the north pavilion at Rosenblatt. The game against the Round Rock Express will begin at 7:05 p.m. Before the game there will be an on-field introduction of all former players. Scheduled to appear are Dennis Leonard, Rob Myers, Chris Hatcher, Mark Huismann, Frank White, Buddy Hunter, Jerry Gomez, Lee Tate, Willie Wilson, Mark Little, Steve Rosenblatt & Paul Splittorff.
